Does anyone really take the path less traveled or are we all conformist searching for the easy way out? And when we do are doing it without thinking about what it will mean to us?

Surprisingly no, people do not take the road less traveled. If you want an example of that, check out your local traffic report during rush hours. Everyones fighting over the same path or route. For those who are wise enough to educate themselves of their surroundings, there are simpler paths one can take to avoid the chaos. Those who plan ahead are more aware than those who follow everyone else. This aspect can be applied anywhere in society. Those who follow a fad, or wear a certain type of dress to identify themselves, are not trend setters, they are trend followers, following someone else's path because they fear treading into the unknown.
