i really want to keep up with this set of new year resolution,
after all being 18 now definitely mean something right?
being mature, acting like an adult, be more responsible.

1)
drink milk everyday.
not that i wanna grow taller (but i still do) just to prevent osteoporosis when im older.

2)
go to the gym to workout or swim at least thrice a week.
dont wanna grow old and get all sort of illness.
&i wanna lost weight, to 42kg, 40kg will be damn good.
but must be realistic uh.

3)
treat my sisters better.
not that im not doing so now, just better.

4)
have better control of my temper.
not that its very bad but can be better.
can just flare out at people.
&blabber out everything that they did me wrong and i did them right.

5)
mummy said i should be less stubborn.
i should work on that.

6)
control my money spending.
i should stop eating out so often,
spent a large portion of my money on food kaes.
should spend more on clothes &books (yes, i read, im not a bimbo!) &bags &products &accessories &shoes &kpop.
as in like, reduce the amount of money i spend on food more than reduce the amount of money i spend on rest of the stuffs.
overall still reduce ya?

caught the news today.
a man shot his 24year old wife/girlfriend dead along with 2 other women.
sighh.
sometimes i cant help but think that guys are so ruthless heartless.
i dont understand how can a person kill someone whom he/she loves so deeply.
they are probably very irrational at that time
but murdering someone you love aint it too overboard?
think these people have some mental problem to begin with.

and why,
some people are not afraid of dying?
is it really because of religion?
have faith that there is an afterlife?
but i believe that there atheists who are not afraid of death either.

i ought to jump down and scream out all my unhappiness, anger.
im so unhappy with my myes result.
im so angry with myself for scoring ZERO, zero points over NINETY points.
6months, 6 more months till A's and with zero points,
i ought to consider opting out of the examination right?
when studying becomes so difficult, such a daunting task.
let me just cry over it and pick myself up after that.
i still dont know how to break it to my parents.
im such a big disappointment to them,

i never seems to learn.

Surprisingly no, people do not take the road less traveled. If you want an example of that, check out your local traffic report during rush hours. Everyones fighting over the same path or route. For those who are wise enough to educate themselves of their surroundings, there are simpler paths one can take to avoid the chaos. Those who plan ahead are more aware than those who follow everyone else. This aspect can be applied anywhere in society. Those who follow a fad, or wear a certain type of dress to identify themselves, are not trend setters, they are trend followers, following someone else's path because they fear treading into the unknown.

today's christmas eve,
im not going out.

HAPPY SQUEEZING THROUGH THE CROWDS PEOPLE!;D

had a potluck session at my condo's function room last night.(:
a gathering session for NCo'o7&NCO'o8.
i went out of house to get them 4times!
&sent them out after the whole thing ended.

we had fun laughter joy for 5hours.((:

i had fun in all the games we randomly thought of last night.(:

we had too much food!

i love the fact that we went there for a family vacation.(:
one of those few times that our family are together
&for a couple of days,
we are looking out for each other,
interacting
&having fun together.((:
<3

hcmc has got superduper heavy&bad traffic!
its like O-M-G!
mostly filled with motorbikes!
you can hear the honk sounds practically every seconds till AM before it all dies down!
its like a madhouse on the streets, in the malls, on the roads!
its even more packed than orchard roads on any other days!
you will have to squeeze through the crowds even in malls!
its their culture and the reason why they are out so late
&the roads so packed its because they are out just to dou feng!
i find it kind of stupid thou.
its a waste of money since you need money to buy petrol,
waste of time,
a risk to health, all the carbon monoxide they are breathing in!
(the roads are so packed that some of them ride on the pavement!)
waste of energy, they keep pressing the honks like nobody business!
adding to air,noise&land pollution!
&they made crossing roads so dangerous!
as they dont follow the traffic lights&road signs!
i probably escaped death a couple of times while im there!

i love the fact that they are so christmas-y!(:
their lightings are far prettier than the ones in singapore!
even their citizens are taking turns to take photos with the decorations!
people are taking photos everywhere!

vietnamese food just taste like chinese food
but their food are either too sweet or too salty!
they only steam their vegetables.

vietnamese girls are so slim!
i havent seen a fat one around.

my tour group had got a few smokers!
every location they will smoke!
some 2 sticks per location!
so super smelly!
im always running away from them
but the wind will carried the smoke to my direction!
super angry at times!
GRRR!

anyway,
i was half blind for 2days!
since i had forgotten to bring my glasses over,
i have no choice but to wear my lenses.
left right was super dry,
kept giving me problems.):

i really love the hotel lights!

&i met ms liu twice there!
meeting in another country is rare,
meeting twice is so very rare!

family day out today!(:
i had much fun&laughter.

went people's park complex to attend briefing for our vacation.
daddy always make it a point that the whole family have to attend the briefing,
so that we will know what to do on our part and understand what's going on.
all the tour members are adults,
no kids to play with.):

headed to chinatown's hawker centre for lunch!
so long since i last went there,
miss all the great food.
settled for chicken curry don.(:

went og to walk and bought sneakers for trip.

went vivocity after that.
we wanted to see the Guinness world record cruise
but realised that it havent come.=/
went jalan in vivocity then.
the national geographic shop is a must go!
im so amazed when i went in!(:

headed down to kallang for dinner!
i was spoilt for choices again!

been craving for it. hehe.

ate till i was so full!!

came home and went daddy's workplace thereafter.
whole family went too!

daddy was standing in front of me while going down the escalator or stairs
and standing behind me while going up the escalator or stairs.

knowing that daddy is already 50 of age!
so i took much care while going up or down.
mummy keeps buying good food for us to eat.
being ever so meticulous,

holidays are finally here!
but im not doing anything other then staying at home!
i dont know what got into me either.

im not going out to meet friends, catch a movie or so, eating at places which i love,

doing my homework, catching up on studies, instantly replying sms, dada.

standard chatered marathon was fun in a way,
not fun in another.

got daddy to send me to bedok interchange.
meet up with huiling and michelle at ntuc.
bought things and headed to mac.

bought nuggets set to eat.=/
its the 1st time im so late outside eating mac!
the time was 12plus am already!
&i stayed out of house not cause of chalet!
stayed there till 2plus am.

walked slowly to mrt station for the shuttle bus.
mich was so scared to cross the road thou there wasnt any car!=O
had a bumpy ride there.

walked to the meet up area after the rest came.
the grass patch was so muddy!

thou its like 3am,
the people are shouting!

collected our packs and went to change in the portable toilet..
there wasnt light in the toilet!

it wasnt after awhile when we got to our station.
helped to carry cartons of natural valley bar,
now, my arms are aching.):
with soaking wet and muddy shoes!

the guys made a chain and passed down packs of 100plus.

since we have got nothing to do,
we placed the bar and drinks so nicely and neatly on the tables!
the person came to tell us that we neednt put it so nicely.XD

before the runners came in,

when the whole horde of runners came in,
we were so busy!

HAPPY BURFDAE DADDYKINS!<3

yesterday went science centre for biology lab!
it was very fun while it lasted!
feel so nosglatic.
i dont remember going there during my secondary school days.
science centre seems so primary school years.

lab on restriction enzymes!
its so cool!
we studied restriction enzymes for sec4 biology,
&now we are doing the experiment!
was super excited the day before!
but after seeing all the apparatus and the teacher explaining,
i was a little disappointed!
cause i did the lab during sec3 biology course at some secondary school,
only without them telling us that we are doing on restriction enzyme.
i still remember the food they provided during breaktime!XD
super nice!:D

but still,
able to handle those apparatus again was good.
cause can play around with those.XD
it lasted for pretty long.
was released at 3plus.

we are like a bunch of small kids,
especially daniel and kokwee (again)!

Through giving away memory-filled objects and exhibiting them as Museum artefacts, we hope to create a space for “secure memory” and “protected remembrance” through the preservation of our collective scarred emotional history.

The exhibition has already been showcased in Croatia, London and Berlin, and the Singapore exhibition will be the Museum's first Asian stop.

Established in 2003 and based in Seoul, Korea, Yegam and Sevensense Inc was one of the first production companies to specialise in comic martial arts performance in Asia, designed to appeal to people of all ages and international cultures.

finally sunday.
bad&good.
this is the only day i neednt go to work.(:
but tomorrow is doom's day (hopefully not).

work was rather boring.
but colleagues and manager were very nice people!
manager, min li, bought soy bean for us!
supervisor, sharon, gave us cadbury chocolates!

they are very funny people too!
they are like my entertainment during those boring hours too!

they laugh rather loudly while talking on the phone.
they always talk about the funny things in their lives over lunch.
i need to time those operators in the rooms,
like whe they label things, remove leaflets from boxes.
(i worked in a healthcare hub,
where those medicinal products are being repack or stored before exporting out to other countries or to hospitals and pharmacies in singapore.)
those people were very friendly and funny too!
&for the first time,
people say that my chinese character name is pretty!

2 things i dont like are that i cant wear skirts and thongs!))):
i can only wear pants
cause they dont want the medicinal products to get too much contacts from our bare skin.
same goes for wearing thongs,
got to wear covered footwear.):

daddy wants me to get 9points!!!!!!!!!
but i think he talking about polytechnic.
elder sister got 8points for jc.
i damn scared i get above 20 points!!
just like my prelims,
a freaking 31 points (before alteration).
o man.

lucky im working half day tomorrow before heading for school.
if not me being at home sure worry the whole time.
&i will be at the hospital before i can get my results.
at least at work im busy doing things.

tomorrow's elder sister birthday,
if i get bad results,
i cant escape from my parents since we will need to celebrate her birthday.

i felt so weird going on the streets today
seeing so many students donning their school uniforms.
&not waking up at 6am,
snatching bathroom with sisters,
and daddy driving us to school.

resolutions for the year:

1. sleep before/at 11pm & wake up before 11am.
2. remove my lenses right after im back home.
3. tidy up my room/table/wardrobe when they are messy.
4. have breakfast everyday.
5. have to exercise regularly.
6. not to dwell on the past.
7. company grandmaS more often.
8. communicate with mummy more.
